The value of an Amethyst stone depends on several factors, including the size and the depth of colour. Feeling Faded

If left for too long in the sun or if exposed to any source of UV light for an extended period, the Amethyst colour will fade. Furthermore, if the stone is exposed to heat for too long, the purple colour will likely fade.
